3. Do I need a business license?

Anyone doing business in the City of La Mesa must have a business license. This includes contractors and those working out of their homes. Business Licenses

4. Where do I pay a parking citation?

You may mail your payment with the citation, pay in person at the Finance Division in City Hall, or pay online. Citations not paid by the time indicated on the back of the citation may result in the citation being doubled, a $10.00 fee being added, and the citation being included on the car registration fees. Please call the Finance Division at 619.667.1117 if you have any questions about parking citation payments.

5. What do I need to get a dog license?

The City of La Mesa is excited to announce that we have partnered with the San Diego Humane Society for all animal services.  This new partnership was approved by the La Mesa City Council during the meeting on January 11, 2022.  Please visit the San Diego Humane Society's website to purchase a dog license.
